Before you start
Have your SIP account details ready.
You need an Android phone, an Internet connection and your SIP username, password and server address, or a setup code from your provider.
bitCaller does not create a provider account. Call and data charges depend on your provider.
First run & permissions →Do not use bitCaller for emergency calls. Use your phone’s system dialler.
Step-by-step installation
Install the APK
Download the file
Open this page on your phone and choose Download APK. Wait for the download to finish.
Open the downloaded APK
Tap the download notification or find the file in Downloads. Android may ask you to allow installation from this source.
Allow installation
Choose Settings, then Allow from this source under Install unknown apps. This applies to the browser or file manager you used to open the APK. Screen names vary between Android versions.
Install the app
Return to the installer and choose Install. Do not ignore a warning about an incompatible signature or a damaged file. Contact us if you have trouble.
Turn off the source permission
After installation, return to Install unknown apps for that browser or file manager and turn off Allow from this source.
Add your account
Open bitCaller, read the privacy information and add your account. Allow microphone access for calls and notifications when Android asks.
